This is the overview page, it provides a high level view on the various wallets on the IOST ecosystem. It is important to cover:

  • Mobile Wallets
  • Browser Extension Wallets
  • Command Line Interface Wallets
  • Desktop GUI Wallets

IOST Wallets may have the following functions:

  • Transfer Tokens
  • Stake/Vote
  • dApp Store
  • Create Accounts
  • Compile Smart Contracts
  • Manage Multiple Accounts

To encourage 3rd party participation in the ecosystem, the IOST Foundation worked with other companies to develop wallets. There is a native command line wallet named iWallet, but most users expect a GUI rather than CLI.
