In an interactive session on the IOST Telegram group page, IOST Watch Co-founder Jim O’Quinn engaged in a discussion with IOST team member Lawrence, with the latter calling for IOST node partners to do better with marketing IOST on media platforms.
Jim talked about how low IOST recognition is in the Crypto Media space, referencing statistics from the top Cryptocurrency news blog.
Lawrence replied and complained of how news blogs like Cointelegraph are asking for a high fee to post articles on their blog. He furthermore called for “some of our node partners to also take the lead on this. It’s an ecosystem effort :)”

With all this being said, the onus lies on every individual (holders, community members, node partners) to increase their marketing in their little way to further push IOST into mainstream news.
